6 Central Coast Coffee Hotspots We Love
There’s no denying that here on the Central Coast, we are spoilt for choice when it comes to great coffee, good views and delicious breakfasts – and it can be hard to know where to start.
If you’re new to the Coast, or looking for a new spot to try, we’ve done the round up for you. From the northern end to the peninsula, these are our top six Central Coast coffee hotspots.
1. Looloo’s Coffee Warehouse, Kincumber
If you’re looking for a relaxed vibe and some of the best coffee on the Central Coast, then Lou Lou’s is the place for you. Tucked away in a warehouse in Kincumber, this hidden gem is well worth seeking out.
The fare is simple and uncomplicated (their toasties are to die for), but the coffee will blow you away. There’s a few cosy spots to sit inside, and you can also go away with coffee beans, Nespresso pods filled with Loo Loo goodness, or even some new coffee creation apparatus to brew your best drop at home.

2. Freestate Café, Terrigal
For those mornings when you need an extra pick-me-up, head to Freestate. This Central Coast coffee favourite is known for their strong and flavoursome ONA coffee – the perfect way to start your day. Each morning, you’ll find owners Pauly and Nigel greeting customers with giant smiles on their faces, smashing through the relentless morning queue of coffees – these guys are seasoned professionals. They also have a great range of quick brekky options and pastries if you’re after something extra to kick things off.

3. Lords of Pour, Ettalong
Located in the heart of Ettalong, Lords of Pour are self-professed specialists in killer brews and awesome chews. They’ve updated their old-school brekky menu in exchange for street-inspired brunch fare with a focus on free-range and local organic produce, while they also take their coffee extremely seriously. White coffees are a delicious blend served at exactly 60 degrees C, and everything else is single origin – which sounds pretty good to us.

4. Flour & Co., Toowoon Bay
If you’re looking for a great coffee and a delicious brekky burrito, pie or pastry to go with it, Flour & Co. is the place for you. Formerly the Toowoon Bay Pie Shop, these legends make nine flavours of pie every morning from scratch, as well as fresh baked bread, cakes, chia bowls, and other goodies. Get in early, though – many of the favourites are known to sell out.

5. Glee Coffee, Erina Heights & Wyong
Glee Coffee is a Central Coast institution. With two locations (Erina Heights and Wyong), they are your go-to for a 10/10 coffee, friendly service and a relaxed vibe. With two café locations – one in the Chapman Building, Wyong, and another in Erina Heights – these guys also have a warehouse in Wyong where their famous beans are roasted, packed and shipped out to other cafés around the Central Coast and Australia. For many ‘Coasties’, finding a café pouring Glee is a guaranteed way to find a good brew when you’re sipping away from home.

6. Burnt Honey Bakery
We’ve possibly left the best till last here, but if you haven’t tried Burnt Honey Bakery – you’re missing out. These guys pour some of the most incredible coffee we’ve tried, and also produce some of the most incredible freshly baked goods that you’ll get your hands on. From quiches and tarts to danishes, croissants, biscuits and so much more, we advise you bring your appetite and take some treats home for later. With their OG store in the heart of Copacabana, and a new one further north in Long Jetty, you’ll never be too far away from a BH fix.
