5 Ways to Spend a Great Day at Erina Fair (That Don’t Involve Shopping)

As the weather continues to cool, we expect more rain and the school holidays keep rolling, everyone is looking for new and exciting activities to keep themselves and the family occupied this winter…

Our partners at Lendlease and Erina Fair have more on offer than ever before – from ice skating and cosy cafés, to school holiday workshops and new luxury cinemas, there’s plenty to do for everyone. We’ve put together a neat little list to highlight all the fun ways to spend time at Erina Fair this winter.

1. School Holiday Workshops

One week down, one to go. With the weather well and truly set in, we know that many parents are stuck for ways to keep the gang occupied indoors. Don’t despair, though – Erina Fair have another full week of winter school holiday activities ahead.

These include free daily paint & sip workshops running at 10am and 12pm at Centre Court (proudly supported by Eastcoast Juice), as well as cookie colouring workshops next Wednesday at the Erina Fair Muffin Break store. You can find more info on the ‘What’s New’ page.

2. Erina Ice Arena

For the school holidays, Erina Ice Arena also have daily activities and ice skating camps Monday-Friday, and professional ice hockey games every weekend (that continue to run once the kids are back at school).

There’s also skate school through the term and opportunities for adults to learn to skate, including a program to support women in the sport. For more details, head to their website.

3. Hoyts Cinema

With two brand-new Xtremescreen auditoriums – 22.9 metre wide screens (with Dolby Atmos 7.1 surround sound) that are the biggest on the Coast – you’ll be completely immersed in the action at the new and improved Hoyts Erina.

Later in the year, every cinema will be completely updated with new recliner seats, as well as DBOX technology – with seats that pitch, roll and heave in perfect sync with all the onscreen action. The best part? You’ll have your own control panel, allowing you to control the intensity of your experience. Pretty neat.

4. Cosy Cafés

The cosy cafés at Erina Fair are better (and more numerous) than ever. Perfect for a hot choccie, lunch or a treat, you’ll be spoilt for choice.

There’s chocolate galore at San Churro or Oliver Brown, pastries to die for at Pattisons, amazing cakes (as well as lunch fare) at Yummy Delicious, great coffee at The Shed and Sage, as well as many more.

Coming later in 2022, you’ll also find plenty of winter warmers at Treat City and Artie’s Bar and Café. You can find the full listing of cafés and restaurants here.
