‘Funds for Floods’: Thank you to our incredible supporters

Our partners at Belle Property Central Coast recently held a charity auction – ‘Funds for Floods’ – raising over $30,000 for the ‘Resilience and Regeneration’ fund of the Northern Rivers Community Foundation (NRCF).

The fund is designed to support community organisations in the early, medium and long-term recovery phases of rebuilding, following the emergency relief effort of the northern NSW floods. Many of these communities still face a long and intensive clean-up, sadly hindered still by ongoing rain across much of the state.

A huge ‘thank you’ to our donors, contributors and attendees

With Belle Property Central Coast being a close and special partner of Central Coast Life & Style, our team were heavily involved in the sourcing of donations and preparation for the event. Many of the donors for the evening are also either our partners or advertisers, so we would like to take this opportunity to thank the businesses who donated;

There was also a top-tier Central Coast Life & Style advertising package up for auction, offering one lucky bidder over $5000 worth of advertising value for our next edition and across our digital space.

Whilst the auction was live with auctioneer Jack O’Connell, participants were also able to join from home – made possible by Auctions Live. Meanwhile, the team from Distillery Botanica and Moore’s Dry Gin treated guests to an impressive pop-up bar (courtesy of KuBarz). The dulcet tunes of solo musician Adam Church also greeted guests as they walked in. Delicious canapés were on the menu, too, prepared by the incredible team at Nourished + Nurtured.

A special highlight was the beautiful ‘Acknowledgement of Country’ delivered by Tim Selwyn of Girri Girra Aboriginal Experiences.

The event was well-attended with close to 100 guests showing up to raise over $30,000 for the NRCF and their ‘Resilience and Regeneration’ Fund. We’d like to extend a special thank you to all those who attended or donated, whether in person or online. We’d also like to thank The Beholder, Covet Creative and Liza Boltz for their respective services.

Silent auction items (pictured) were on offer alongside larger items highlighted by the auctioneer at the cocktail-style event.
