KoWorks; Love Where You Work

In an era where the traditional office is evolving and the line between work and wellness is beginning to fade, KoWorks stands at the forefront of this evolution.

KoWorks is a sanctuary for entrepreneurs, freelancers, and businesses seeking to thrive – with individuals encouraged to “love where you work”, born out of a desire to create more than just a workspace. Here, the boundaries between work and wellness blend seamlessly, creating a community where people support and uplift one another. The heart of this organisation is its members, whose trust, support, and enthusiasm have been the bedrock of its success.

Founder Adam Hyman, inspired by his time volunteering at Copacabana Beach, turned a casual conversation about a pop-up coworking space into a vibrant movement. His vision was clear: to create a space where people could reclaim their work-life balance and find joy in their professional lives. Today, KoWorks stands as a testament to that vision, sparked during a challenging period when the global pandemic reshaped the way we approach our work lifestyles. It emerged as a response to the need for connection and adaptable workspaces – providing a dynamic environment where individuals can excel in their work while maintaining a focus on their overall lifestyle and wellness.

Beginning as a modest initiative with pop-up furniture at the Copacabana Surf Life Saving Club, inviting people out of their home offices and into one of the most breathtaking coastal settings imaginable – but it quickly became more than a temporary solution. The beginning of something much more special, the concept resonated deeply with a growing community of local business owners, entrepreneurs and professionals, setting the stage for KoWorks to evolve into a permanent fixture across the Central Coast.

A year ago, KoWorks officially opened its doors in Killcare, beautifully set against the backdrop of Bouddi National Park. The success of this location was quickly followed by the launch of an urban warehouse space in Gosford and the popular Avoca Beach space, complete with meeting rooms, functional kitchen, ice bath and sauna. Each location is thoughtfully designed to reflect its local community’s unique character, offering spaces that cater to diverse professional needs and personal preferences.

It’s not just about providing a place to work; it’s about creating a community space that empowers individuals to freely choose how they live and work. With a user-friendly app, KoWorkers can easily choose locations, book spaces, check in, and connect with others. The platform also offers access to events, wellness spaces, and an online networking directory.
