From nature walks and wildlife encounters to creative workshops and local markets, here’s our go-to guide to keep the kids busy this school holidays.

1. Easter Egg Hunts
Easter Egg Hunt & Craft at Everglades Country Club – Wednesday 16 April
Kids can design their own Easter bags, join in on dancing, games, and music, then hunt for colourful eggs packed with sweet surprises, starting at 10am.
Egg Hunt at Davistown RSL Club – Friday 18 April
A fun-filled Easter Egg Hunt at Davo’s Backyard on Good Friday, 18th April, with an exciting egg hunt, face painting, and an appearance from the Easter Bunny. Bookings essential.
Easter Egg Hunt at Firescreek Botanical Winery – Saturday 19 April
Hop on in for the annual Easter Egg Hunt at Firescreek Botanical Winery – complimentary wine tasting for the adults!!!
Glenworth Valley’s Giant Easter Egg Hunt – Sunday 20 April
This year’s Easter egg hunt includes new areas for ages 3-7 and 8-14, plus jumping castles, pony rides, a petting zoo, and tasty treats from onsite vendors for the most exciting Easter Sunday yet!
2. Movie Nights
Toukley Movie Night – Saturday 12 April
A free open-air screening of Happy Feet. Also a range of activities for the kids including crafts, circus play space, roving entertainment, face painting and lawn games. Activities will commence at 4pm. Movie will start at 6pm.

Kids can get crafty with painting, colouring, and fun DIY projects—guided by the friendly Mercure Kooindah Waters team.
Cookie Decorating at Mercure Kooindah Waters – Tuesday 15 April
Let the kids get creative (and a little messy!) at this Cookie Decorating session! With freshly baked cookies, colourful icing, and fun toppings, it’s a sweet way to spend the afternoon.
Princess Makeover and Craft Day at Berkeley Vale – Thursday 17 April
Treat your little one to a magical day at a Princess Makeover event with Elkie Hollow! From sparkling gown dress-ups and floral face painting to crafting their very own princess wand, it’s an experience they won’t forget.
Decorating Terracotta Pots at Umina Beach Library – Thursday 17 April

Forest Hill Farm Tour at Yarramalong Valley Horse Farm Stay

Pelican Feeding Time at The Entrance
Get up close with these majestic birds and admire their beauty and size, while Marine Wildlife Rescue volunteers share their expert knowledge on pelicans and other local wildlife! Every day during school holidays at 3:30pm.
