Dimitris Aronis
Private chef, Dimitris Aronis is a man who has loved quality food for a long time. Working in the hospitality industry since high school, he now owns Private Chef Catering, a Central Coast business offering private dining experiences for groups that want to entertain at home or on holidays.
With popular menus that serve up beautiful, seasonal organic produce, his team create fresh plates that are a hit with clients. Think Beetroot Carpaccio with shaved baby radish, labneh, blood orange, quinoa, walnut vinaigrette and micro beetroot leaf.
“People get so excited to be cooked for and we love making it a real experience for them. We actually got really busy after the first wave of COVID-19. People want our private chef service because it’s safe and different. Whilst international travel remains restricted, a private chef is the perfect way to spoil yourself, in the safety of your own home,” Dimitris explains.
Carla King-Turner
After spending the last 20 years presenting live shopping on Australian TV, Carla King-Turner runs her holiday house retreats, as well as her own interactive beauty website and directory – Mooi + U Beauty.
The original Greenhouse Retreat is located on the Brisbane Waters in Green Point. Pearl Beach is the newest location. Offering beautifully styled holiday houses that are matched to the surrounding environment, the properties are peppered with many little self-care and wellness touches.
Carla believes that wellness is not just one thing but many. Good food, self-care, movement and laughter, it is also the connections and time we spend with our closest. The Greenhouse is a place to retreat, unwind, reconnect and take time to practise self-care.
