Hi, my name is Cathy Baker, some of you may already, but if not, I am the founder of Central Coast Life & Style – an online and inprint magazine that showcases how wonderful and uplifting life on the NSW Central Coast can be.
Whether you live here or are visiting on vacation, there is something for everyone.
Background to our new media platform
As many of you already know, I am not someone that sits on her laurels, in life or business.
Having published a quarterly magazine for more than 5 years, I felt it was time to take my publication to a new level and digitise it.
In doing so, I have rebranded and expanded, all with the aim of helping to promote local artists and businesses across our wonderful NSW Central Coast community.
Something positive post COVID
During my many years selling prestige property as Principal of Belle Property Central Coast, I’ve witnessed a trend and evolution unfolding, as forward-thinking businesses transform the area into a lifestyle mecca to rival Byron Bay or Sydney’s Northern Beaches.
I’m, therefore, excited to announce that Central Coast Life and Style is a passion of mine and something that has been born out of a desperately difficult 2020.
In a post-COVID-19 world where people are more inclined to work from home or travel domestically, there is now even more opportunity for the region to flourish, with Sydneysiders moving here or holidaying here regularly.
Merging two media businesses
Joining the Central Coast Life and Style stable is the website and social channels of popular local blog Coastal Chic. Together, the printed magazine on online channels showcase the region’s best food, fashion, art, events and property.
Edition #1 Central Coast Life & Style print magazine
The first edition of the magazine has been in circulation since Saturday the 3rd of October, and to celebrate this inaugural event we held a launch party in Terrigal, with a live performance from The Voice finalist Johnny Manuel. The Central Coast Life and Style magazine is available in cafés across the Central Coast, in local retail stores, and the coffee tables of exclusive holiday rental properties.
My passion and mission moving forward
Central Coast Life and Style has been designed as a beautiful visual platform to showcase these exciting changes, propelling forward the lifestyle shift that has already started happening here on the Central Coast.
My mission is to help businesses and people featured in the magazine be highly-visible and searchable. Advertising opportunities will be plentiful and highly valuable to those that participate in the publication.
