The Olive Grove: The Perfect Spot For Your Next Event
If you weren’t impressed enough by the transformation of The Quarters at Forresters Beach over the past few years, there’s now one more reason to admire this stunning destination venue – The Olive Grove.
In 2021, The Quarters’ accommodation was completely renovated and restyled under the direction of interior designer and co-owner Donna Hughes. It now offers 34 stylish rooms that cater for couples, families, corporate visitors and groups of friends – alongside The Captain’s Table conference space, The Pantry café, The Botanical Workshop florist, The Gilded Anchor cocktail bar and restaurant, Something by Grace hair salon and You by Dr Shauna Watts cosmetic medicine clinic.
Now, taking on a starring role is The Olive Grove – a stylish, versatile space that provides the perfect setting for weddings, parties and corporate events. It’s also the Coast’s latest live music venue.
The Space
With its high ceilings, arched windows and ample room for up to 200 guests – or 150 seated around tables – the versatile Olive Grove ballroom can be set up to cater for a multitude of special events.
This lovely space opens onto a private courtyard which features a covered colonnaded pavilion and an attractive sandstone platform used for wedding ceremonies and speeches. The Olive Grove also has its own street entrance, separate from the main entrance of The Quarters – a feature much appreciated by bridal parties.
A Dedicated Events Team
The Olive Grove’s dedicated events team can tailor everything from the décor to catering, table-settings, flowers, audio-visual equipment and music to suit your taste and budget. “We’re a one-stop-shop,” says events manager Emma Paulley-Hughes. “Whether you’re looking for a wedding celebration, a splashy birthday party or a corporate function, we work with each client to create a truly individual, memorable event.”
Stay Next Door
Although The Olive Grove is a standalone venue, many guests attending special events choose to book into The Quarters’ accommodation overnight or for the weekend – after all, it’s just next door! And now that The Olive Grove is hosting regular live music gigs, an overnight stay means you can enjoy a few drinks with dinner while taking in the performance.
