We have an unusual question – have you ever wanted a close up and personal experience with a llama? Alpaca Magic, the largest Llama stud in NSW, is offering an incredibly unique and quirky experience where you can come and meet over 200 alpacas and llamas and feed them treats while enjoying your own breakfast barbecue.

Wear comfortable clothing, a hat and sturdy shoes, bring your camera and some carrots. Held once or twice a month, you can book online here https://www.alpacamagic.com.au/events

3. Marshmallow Co, Wyong

Marshmallow Co Wyong

Sugary, fluffy homemade marshmallows with a gourmet twist? Yum.

The Marshmallow Co at Wyong is one of the coast’s most unique lolly shops with 40 different marshmallow flavours ranging from classics like vanilla bean and chocolate to some more out there flavours like lemon meringue, banoffee and gourmet lime and coconut.

Open Wednesday to Saturday, the shop front and dessert bar serve other marshmallowy desserts such as s’mores, cheesecake, and waffles as well as our coffees and shakes.

5. Broken Bay Pearl Farm Experience

Broken Bay Pearl Farm Experience

One of the Central Coast’s best kept secrets, Pearls of Australia are inviting private groups to their Shellar door – a revamped Oyster Shed in Mooney Mooney alongside the Hawkesbury River.

Board an Oyster Punt ‘Rose’ to meet the pearling team who share the intricacies of pearl farming and reveal one of Australia’s most fascinating histories.

Once back on land you’re invited to join your hosts in a hands-on session with the harvest where you’ll learn how pearls are graded by the seven virtues that underpin the value of these farm-direct Pearls of Australia.

The tours are offered seven days a week at 10am and 1.30pm for two hours. Book online at https://www.pearlsofaustralia.com.au/broken-bay-pearl-farm-nsw
