It’s about drawing on our love of all things vintage to give everyone a fair go.

The collective is a fabulous initiative of Fairhaven Services, which provides support, service and employment to people with a disability on the Coast.
Located at Point Clare, it’s easily identifiable by the bunting that is always strung across the shady yard.

The creative recycling is most apparent inside the Vintage Fair Upcycle Shop where ties have been transformed into purses and frames are painted in pretty colours and filled with anything and everything to create wall art.
The shop is also home to hand-crafted jewellery, pre-loved books and homewares, like bookshelves, breakfast trays and bowls, which have had a chic makeover at the hands of Fairhaven supported employees.

The op shop is the place for necessities like cutlery, cups, sheets and toys.
There’s also a room full of clothes for vintage chic Coasties savvy enough to find something chic outside of a department store.

As the Department of Coffee and Social Affairs, a good cuppa and some company is on the menu at the collective’s Fare Cravin’ cafe.
You might even be lucky enough to score a Nutella donut to enjoy with your coffee under the shade of the Firetruck-red bottlebrush in the garden.

Having mastered coasters and photo frames, the clever folk at Fairhaven have added an ‘e’ to crate to create.
The new range of made-to-order pallet furniture is called RE-CReATE and turns upcycled pallets into bench seats, planter boxes, coffee tables and toy boxes.
The rustic style of furniture might be right on-trend but it’s still ridiculously well priced.

In sheds and shipping containers out the back, there are plants, books and crafty bits and bobs.
Repurposed furniture is also available.
