First Look: The Bon Pavilion in Pics

Celebrity chef Sean Connolly has opened his first Central Coast venue – The Bon Pavilion – in the heart of Gosford’s CBD.

Connolly adds Bon to his line up of acclaimed global eateries including popular Australian restaurants such as The Morrison in Sydney and Balcony Bar in Byron.

In true Connolly style, the food is simple and delicious, letting good quality local produce speak for itself.

The restaurant has been built in the cavernous space at the base of John Singleton’s latest much-hyped Gosford development – Bonython Tower.

The giant open-plan pavilion-like space is home to a slew of different dining options including family-friendly Bonfire with comfy leather booths and a mouth-watering menu (leave room for the lemon meringue donut); Bon Bon Espresso cafe with coffee, pastries and a beautiful wall-length mural; Bon Bon Bar, a cocktail and tapas bar specialising in craft beers and whisky; and Bon Vin Private Dining which will be home to quality local and international wines when it opens later this year.

With the couple who preside over Bells at Killcare and Pretty Beach House, Brian and Karina Barry, at the helm, it has all the hallmarks of a memorable dining experience.
